MY LAST TRIMESTER PREGNANCY PERIOD

In my third trimester, my stomach was getting bigger and bigger. During that stage, the baby kicked more often and it kept me awake at nighttime. According to what I've read, the baby can hear my heart beat, digestive system, etc. The baby can also hear my voice as well as others close by. So, I read some children books for my baby.

I was so excited that I finally decided to have an ultra sound check on the second month of my trimester period of pregnancy. During the ultra sound session, I can really felt that I'm already a mother when I saw a baby inside my womb. My expected date was November 18, 2007 but base on my ultra sound, it was December 03, 2007.

ON MY 2ND TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY

The first trimester of my pregnancy was over. On the second trimester, I faced different experiences. That time I can eat well. And I loved to eat salted peanut. On the second month of the second trimester, my doctor told me that gender of my baby would be visible by ultrasound. But I preferred not to know the gender of my baby. I want to surprise myself on his/her birth. I was so excited everytime I feel my baby's kicks. Loud noises caused him/her to startle.

My first trimester of pregnancy

During my first trimester pregnancy, the doctor advised me to take enough rest because it’s a critical month in fetal development. I slept a lot and did easy works. I can’t eat because of the smell of the food. And I felt dizzy always. The doctor, who happened to be the uncle of my partner, told me that it’s normal to a pregnant woman. He gave me three types of medicine, for dizziness, headache and acid. But I preferred not to take those medicines so I sacrificed those illnesses until the third month of the first trimester. Although it was prescribed by my Obgyne, I was still afraid maybe there will be side effects to my baby. During the third month, I felt my baby was already moving spontaneously. By the end of the month, I heard my baby’s heart beat with a Doppler.

THE RESULT WAS POSITIVE

Pregnancy is an amazing journey. As far as I can remember, it was March 24, 2007 that my monthly period was delayed. I decided to buy a pregnancy kit because I was so excited to know if I’m pregnant. And the result was POSITIVE.

I will start my life’s journey with this post. But I don’t know where to start. All I want is to share my own life being a woman, a wife, and a mother.

Being a woman, I learned to love myself.

Being a wife, I learned to handle things and understand one’s differences.

Being a mother, I learned to balance everything and take care of my precious child.

Life has so many struggles, hardships and twists but I have to enjoy it. For being a woman, wife and mother at the same time is fulfilling!
